The Happy SSA Community Leads. The Sub-Saharan Africa (SSA) Community Summit is a summit held every year to bring together organizers of different Google Developer Groups (GDGs) from various locations in the region to share their experiences, and to inspire each other with success stories. This year i was among the invited Organizer Leads "When i received the emails that my spot was confirmed, air ticket sent ooh I should say it was one of the best days of 2018 and when I got to Jomo Kenyatta Airport that's the time I knew it was not a dream i was really attending the SSA summit." As a WTM lead GDG Jinja i was just eager to meet other passionate community leads and learn from their experience, the summit was held in Nairobi-Kenya at Crown Plaza hotel very nice, clean and good service hotel. Part of the Women Techmakers Team GDG Jinja The International Women's day  which is celebrated every year was held at Igar cafe Jinja and organized by the Women Techmakers Team from GDG Jinja. The theme for this year is Building a new Horizon , Many women are afraid of joining the technology industry because they believe it's masculine "Boys thing" but different awesome female speakers presented and left many of them inspired and motivated to join in technology.  As a women Techmakers lead of Jinja I believe that women can not only use technology but they can also create it, they just need to know the impact of and use of technology in their careers. So to all my ladies out there be part of the Horizon lets work together and build a new Horizon. Awesome Women Techmakers Team.

Ugandan Musician Moses Sekiboogo a.k.a  Mozey Radio @33 years has passed on at Case Clinic. So sad to hear and hard to believe that this young star,  Best song writer and worst of it all great Vocalist  is gone not for a show abroad or for a vacation but for good, we shall miss your sweet music and sweet voice your not irreplaceable #Radio you will always be remembered  your gone too soon Solider.
