cnet.com TikTok says it deleted more than 49 million videos which violated its rules in second half of last year.  The videos that were deleted fell under the categories such as hate speech and adult nudity or sexual activity, said the business in it's latest transparency report released on it's website. About one-third of the videos were from India, followed by the United States, and Pakistan, it added. The US has suggested it is "looking at" whether to ban the Chinese-owned app. On Monday, US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo suggested that downloading TikTok would put citizens' "private information in the hands of the Chinese Communist Party". The report comes days after the company owned by China's ByteDance was banned from India citing cyber security concerns, one of its biggest markets, after a Sino-India border clash.
